Volunteer Terms and Conditions

Before submitting your Thriving Transmen of Color (TTMOC) Volunteer Application, please review and understand our Terms & Conditions.

We require dedicated and reliable volunteers who are committed to supporting our mission. By continuing with this Volunteer Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Volunteer Status

I understand that I am offering my services voluntarily and will not receive financial compensation, salary, or employee benefits. I acknowledge that my role is that of a volunteer and not an employee, contractor, or representative of TTMOC.

2. Code of Conduct

I agree to uphold the mission and values of TTMOC in all volunteer activities.I will act respectfully toward staff, fellow volunteers, and community members. I will not engage in any form of discrimination, harassment, or behavior that could harm others or the reputation of TTMOC.

3. Confidentiality

I may be exposed to sensitive information regarding individuals or the organization. I agree to keep all personal, private, and organizational information confidential and not disclose it without prior authorization.

4. Commitment & Attendance

I agree to complete any training, orientation, or preparation required for my volunteer role.  If unable to attend or continue volunteering, I will notify TTMOC staff as soon as possible.

5. Health & Safety

I agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by TTMOC. I understand that I am responsible for my own health and well-being while volunteering. I release TTMOC from liability for injuries or accidents that occur during volunteer activities, except in cases of gross negligence by TTMOC.

6. Media & Photography

I understand that photos, videos, or recordings may be taken during events or activities. I consent (or can opt out in writing) to the use of my image for TTMOC’s educational, promotional, and outreach purposes.

7. Termination of Volunteer Service

TTMOC reserves the right to end a volunteer’s service at any time if conduct is inconsistent with the mission, values, or policies of the organization.
